This is the wonderful Noodle! She is a lurcher who understands a SIT! She is full of beans, loves her snacks and toys and is looking for a new home to soak up all the love and attention she can.
Noodle enjoys her walks, liking to sniff around and have some time to zoom off lead. This is usually short lived, and she quickly wants to have a little lie down in the grass or head back to her kennel for a snooze! Noodle would love to have her own private garden for her sniffing investigations, playing, learning some toilet skills and bonding with her new family. Ideally, walks in green spaces away from busy roads would suit Noodle the best. She can be a cheeky lady when it comes to stealing treats and due to her height and following her snoot, she could be prone to a bit of counter surfing in kitchens!
Noodle came to us as a stray and has met a few dogs since being with us. She is friendly and independent when meeting other dogs, she can sometimes be playful, but she finds bargy play too much and she is a little unsure of smaller dogs. For this reason, Noodle would love to be the only dog in the home. Due to her breed type we think it is best she doesn’t live with cats or small furries.
When you are Noodle’s friend, you are her friend for life! She loves her known people, leaning in for fuss and accepting all the love. She can be worried of more formal handling, and we have been working on ways to help her feel comfortable with this. Noodle has shown she can be uncomfortable and worried when meeting new people, so she is hoping for patient, calm new owners who can advocate for her if she is uncertain and can give her space when needed. As she is a stray, we do not have any information of what Noodle thinks of children and seeing her uncomfortable behaviours on site, we feel a home with older teens who can be sensible around Noodle would be best.

Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
