Omelette is a friendly and charming Pomeranian Cross who is looking for his new home. He is based at Battersea Old Windsor.
He enjoys meeting new people and makes friends quickly. One of his favourite things to do is have fuss with his carers here! He's a lively, active chap who loves going for walks and sniffing around. He's quite juvenile in his behaviours and can be a but nibbly with people's hands when he gets excited.
We don't know much about his previous life or experiences and because of this he may need a little time and patience to settle into his new home and adjust to a new routine. Giving him the opportunity to settle at his own pace will help him build confidence and feel secure.
Omelette is looking for a home where he can be the only dog so he can have all the attention for himself. He has shown a mixture of behaviours around other dogs but does prefer meeting smaller, calmer dogs who are respectful and won't overwhelm him. He can be a little vocal at times when he's walking and sees other dogs so will need opportunities to greet dog friends so he does not become frustrated.
Due to his breed, he will require some ongoing grooming to keep his coat looking good. He has had a groom with us here and was a little worried but overall did really well so this is something that will need to be continued.

Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
