More about Peggy
Peggy is a delightful Bulldog who enjoys being with her favourite people and eating snacks.
Peggy has lived in a home previously and was friendly with visitors and settled nicely. She was house trained and travelled well in the car.
Peggy is looking to be the only dog in her new home as she can be intolerant around them and prefers her own space. Peggy can walk past dogs calmly but doesn’t enjoy them in her face, especially when they are more animated. Due to this, Peggy is looking to live in a quieter location where they won’t be lots of dogs running up to her.
She will need a little bit of work around being handled at the vets as she can find this stressful. New owners could make some short, social trips to the vets in between treatments to make the vets a more positive place.
Any new owner should research into the Bulldog breed, and they are prone to medical conditions. Peggy is not one for long walks and it is important to be extra careful with the breed in hot weather. Any new owner will need to speak to a Battersea vet before rehoming her.
Peggy is a loving dog that is searching for a nice comfy bed to snooze on.
