More about Ruby

Meet our lovely little Chi Ruby.

Ruby arrived at Battersea a gift due to her owner no longer being able to care for her.

She is a sweet and very sensitive soul who can be a bit worried by new people, handling and the outside world. She will need new owners who are sympathetic to her needs and will give her all the time and patience she needs to find her feet and build a bond, and not rush her.

Ruby is quite tall for a Chihuahua. She has a lovely history of living with multiple dogs and could potentially live with another dog that is the right match for her, who can help build her confidence out & about in the world. This sensitive lady will need a home away from the inner city, with access to her own private garden. She could potentially live with respectful teens 13 + and perhaps even with a calm and dog savvy cat. Despite her worried and nervous nature, Ruby is a loving girl who, given time, shows an affectionate and gentle character. She would thrive in a home with patient and caring owners, who have the patience to give her the space she needs to come out of her shell and let her true colours shine.
