More about Sheldon

Meet Sheldon, our bouncy 4 year old springer spaniel!
Sheldon came to us due to a change in his previous owners circumstances, and is looking for a new home that has experience with high energy working dogs.
Although described by his previous owners as energetic & exuberant, Sheldon has been a little worried since arriving at Battersea. He takes time to warm up to new people and new dogs, and he also finds loud noises a little overwhelming. He has struggled with his collar and his harness, needing careful and empathetic approaches to make sure he continues to move in the right direction.
A household that can read dog body language and advocate for their dog would make Sheldon a very grateful boy!
Sheldon has a lot of love to give and has previously lived with children. Once he has bonded to a person or dog, he is a wiggly, lively little lad who wants to play and to learn!
Sheldon is a high energy dog who loves a life of both physical and mental stimulation, so make sure that’s the lifestyle you are looking to live with your new canine companion!
