More about Wilson

Wilson is a wonderful character- intelligent, active and loyal and would love owners who are looking for a devoted and quick-thinking dog to do further training with. He is based at our Old Windsor centre.

Wilson has a strong motivation for toys and we often use these for his training here - he'd really enjoy search games or similar where he has to use his brain. Wilson is friendly with people, though can take a short time to warm up and feel fully comfortable. Once he knows you he likes a fuss or just to be near people.

One area that owners will need to be happy with is Wilson's worry of other dogs. He is quite happy to keep to himself and does not look to interact with dogs, however if they approach him and he is unsure he will be very clear about this. He'd best suit walks in quieter places where there are not lots of off-lead dogs running around as these will be overwhelming for him, but he loves quieter places where he can sniff around. He is strong on lead, especially when he wants to sniff something so his owners need to be able to keep up with him.

Wilson has picked up lots of basic training since arriving with us and knows sit, paw, 'middle' to name a few. He enjoys using his brain and the breed need plenty of activities to keep them busy and occupied.

Wilson has so much potential and we're sure with dedicated owners he'll flourish.
