We want to hear from you to better understand how the new Renters’ Rights Act is working. Your experiences will help us continue our work to improve access to pet-friendly properties.

Who can share a story?

We want to hear from you if you rent your home and own a dog or cat, are a renter who has recently made a pet request, or you’re a landlord who has responded to a pet request. You don’t need to be an expert – your lived experience is what matters.  Anyone with a story to tell can help, whether your pet (or your tenants’ pet) came from Battersea, another rescue, or a breeder.

How we’ll use your story

Your story may help us raise awareness on our website, social media, and through press and policy change campaigns. You’ll be able to choose exactly where you’re happy for your story to be used.

Our team will work with you to make sure your story is told honestly, respectfully and in a way you feel comfortable with. While we aren’t able to reply to everyone, every story shared helps us understand these issues and work towards better outcomes for pets and their owners.
