A clear organisational strategy provides direction and alignment across an organisation’s activities. This two half-day course supports senior staff and trustees responsible for developing and delivering strategy within an animal shelter or rehoming organisation.
The session introduces a structured approach to strategic planning. The course explores the purpose and key components of an organisational strategy and the development of a supporting business or operational plan. You’ll consider the perspectives involved in strategic planning, how to assess strategic options and how to prepare for implementation.
Practical tools to support planning are also covered, as well as considerations like risk, resource and performance monitoring.
