More about Buddy

Buddy is our lively cockapoo who loves nothing more than playing with all of his toys! He is a very sociable boy and loves meeting new people and new dogs.

Buddy has shown some resource guarding behaviours around his toys; his new owners will ideally have some experience managing similar behaviours or will have done some research into this and be willing to follow our advice. We have found several ways of managing Buddy's behaviours and these will be demonstrated to his new owners during his introductions. His new owners will also need to be realistic that these behaviours will likely never go away completely and will need on-going, sympathetic management. Due to Buddy's resource guarding, he would be best suited to an adult only home.

Buddy gets along well with other dogs and has previously lived with another dog. He could potentially live with another friendly, steady dog, as long as this dog doesn't have any history of resource guarding. He would love to have a private garden in his new home where he can run around and play with all of his toys.
