More about Thor

Thor is a soft natured and sensitive Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross that is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor
As Thor does have a sensitive side, he can find meeting people worrying, it takes him a short while to warm up to you and make friends. It is best to take a hands-off approach and allow Thor to choose to interact with you once he is comfortable and at his own pace. Once Thor has made friends, you will have a friend for life and Thor's more goofy and playful side will begin to shine through.

He loves to go on walks and his confidence in new environments is growing more each day. Being a young dog he will need socialising and gentle exposure to the world. Thor may enjoy exploring the world at his own pace and prefer quieter walking routes with lots of green spaces he can explore to begin with

Thor is still working on his social skills when interacting with other dogs so would be looking to be the only dog in the household at this time, he can still find some dogs overwhelming when interacting with them. Since being in our care, Thor has made so much progress, and he has been able to meet a variety of dogs. He would benefit from having regular walking friends who have a calm and friendly nature.

Thor is very much a foody and he will politely take any type of treat that is offered to him. As he loves his food so much, this can be used as a great motivation tool to help with his ongoing training.

Thor would make a loving and loyal companion, once given the chance to come out of his shell.
