More about BEAR

Bear is a wonderful youngster with a positive outlook on life. He loves being with people and playing with his toys - balls are his favourite and he will charge around with them for ages!He also has started to learn a roll over command which is fun for him and you to teach.

Bear is looking for an active family who can include him in all their adventures. He loves his walks and play time, so will happily play with his toys in the garden and then head off for a lovely hike. Bear has learnt a settle cue whilst here at Brands Hatch which helps him to relax onto a bed and our rehomers can demonstrate this to you. Being a larger boy Bear can be quite rambunctious and will need new owners who are robust and confident in handling him as when he gets excited he can be a handful.

Bear is social with other dogs and loves to play with them, but sometimes is having so much fun he doesn't want to return to his handler! He will need owners who are prepared to teach him a recall so that he will reliably return to them when on walks. He can sometimes be a little shy when meeting new people but quickly comes around and makes firm bonds. He will need a settling in period to get back into the swing of daily life after his stay here at Brands Hatch, but after some TLC he will be a loving addition to any family.

Bear does have an ongoing skin condition so any new potential owner will need to speak to our vets about this.

In a family home with owners who will dedicate some time to his training and socialisation, we are certain Bear will flourish into a fantastic and very loving family dog. If Bear looks like the dog for you, please contact our rehoming team.
